The AssociationNOTICE: The AAPC has ceased to exist as an autonomous organisation, and is now a Special Interest Group (SIG) under the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) umbrella. This website will be closed down after a WA Consultant's SIG page has been established on the PIA website. When the page has been created, a link to it will be placed here for a transition period prior to closing down this site. The Australian Association of Planning Consultants (WA) is an association of professional town planning and urban design practices based in Western Australia. The association’s membership consists of individual practitioners through to large multi-disciplinary consultancy organisations and caters for the provision of the full range of town planning and design services. The aims of the association are to represent generally the views and interests of its member practices, to promote the role of town planning consultants and the services provided by the association, to encourage the highest standards of planning practice, ethics and training, to encourage active involvement in community discussion or debate with reference to town planning and urban design and to promote the profile of town planning within the wider community. Member practices adhere to a code of professional conduct designed to ensure the highest and most ethical standard of service to clients and represent a significant reservoir of town planning and design knowledge and experience.
